Entertainment vs. Creation

I’m a creator. If I don’t create things I get antsy. Most of this is software. Some of it is hardware. Sometimes it’s cooking or putting together furniture. I also like listening to music, watching tv, following sports, and going to shows. When I’m being entertained I’m not creating anything. You may say I’m wasting time when doing the above. I don’t look at it that way but an argument can be made. Which brings me to agentic coding. I’m now at the point where I have agents working around the clock for hours on end building for me. Believe it or not, this actually touches both creation and entertainment. The creation side is obvious. I’m now creating things even when I sleep. But I’m also being entertained by the agents. I check in every so often and watch what’s going on. Sometimes I ask questions or answer things. To me it’s another form of entertainment on my phone like reading the news, or checking the weather. I find it very interesting the new role I have in creation. I’m high level, which allows me to spend my time differently. I can entertain myself, and create at the same time. And even that creation has become entertaining.
