Important - Updating Pre-Release

extensionfm:

Hey Everyone,

We made a mistake when we released 4.0 to the pre-release channel. We accidentally removed the auto-update code.

What does this mean?
If you don’t take any action, the pre-release version you have will be stuck on 4.0.

How are we fixing this?
In the next few hours, your ExtensionFM will open a new window prompting you to click Continue to update to 4.3. This should be pretty painless and just requires that you click Continue. You do not have to restart the browser. After this, the extension will auto-update to all future versions the way it always has.

Why should I update?
ExtensionFM 4.3 has some very nice new enhancements driven directly from your feedback along with a cool new feature:

Core Updates:

Player controls - we’ve added two new buttons to the player that shows up on the bottom of the currently playing page. The first is a Home button. Click it to open your library. The second is a Close button. Click it to remove the bottom player from the page. It will stay closed for the life of the tab.

Undelete - you can now undelete a site that you previously deleted by visiting the site and clicking on the button. The drop-down will indicate that you previously deleted the site and give you an option to undelete it.

New Feature:

Song notifications - You now have the option of receiving a desktop notification any time a new song starts playing. This feature is turned off by default but can be enabled in the Settings page. Honestly, I was never a fan of this with traditional media players and always turned it off. I left it on for ExtensionFM while testing and must admit that I love it. Most songs are new to me and it is great to get a quick notification of the new song along with what site it came from.

If you installed ExtensionFM from the gallery (version 1.3.9), you can disregard this message. These updates will be coming to you sometime next week. No action is required on your part.

Sorry for the hassle and thanks for all of your help in making ExtensionFM great! Please keep the feedback coming.
