Girl Talk at Terminal 5 - 11/18/08
It was 8PM last night. I was halfway out the office when my friend Jeff called. “Want to go to Girl Talk? Free Ticket”. I was in. Claudio, who I saw Girl Talk with at APW, had 2 tickets and could not go. What a friend - he gave them to us, hoping at least someone could enjoy the show while he could not. Thanks Clauds!We got to the show by 9:15 just as Girl Talk came on. Unlike Saturday with Isabel, where we stood upstairs with ample room, I knew Jeff would want to go deep into the floor crowd. We stood there for a while, half dancing, half fighting the crowd. Eventually, we went upstairs and bounced around a bit taking in the show for all angles. Overall, I felt the crowd (both onstage and off) had a little less energy than Saturday night. I guess that can be expected though - Saturday, first night of show vs. Tuesday, third night of show. But it was still awesome and I know I will see him again. Hopefully Claudio can make it next time.
