Big news for Streampad!
Some awesome updates to the Tumblr MP3 Player. It is now highly customizable. You can change its colors, change its text and add some icons, all with simple arguments passed to it. Here are the new features (documented here):
1. Change the color of the background
2. Change the color of the ‘powered by STREAMPAD’ text
3. Change the color of the title text
4. Change the color of the progress bar (front and back)
5. Add a Play Button Image to make it more clear what the player does
6. Change the ‘Click to Play All Audio Posts’ text to whatever you want
7. Change the color of the buttons
In addition, you can now also skip ahead to any part in the song by clicking on the progress bar. You can also see the last 20 songs you listened to at streampad.com
One more thing. AOL has acquired Streampad! You can read all about it here. As most of you know, I’ve been working as a Lead Engineer at AOL Music for the past year. Now that Streampad is a part of AOL, I can work on this full time (with an awesome team). The first fruits of our labor are above. In the near future, look for a widget that you can pop out of the bottombar and take with you to Facebook, Bebo, iGoogle, etc. I couldn’t be more excited for what’s coming down the road!
