My Top Albums This Year (3 lists coming)
This year has been by far my best in terms of discovering new music (Thanks Spinella). I kept a running list the entire year and ended up with over 40 albums that I would consider very good. That’s a lot! I am an album listener and if an album isn’t good from beginning to end, I won’t listen to any of the songs on it. All the albums on this list fit that criteria.
Since this list is so big, I decided to break it up into 3 lists. The first one I will be releasing is ‘Albums I discovered this year that did not come out in 2009’. Most of them came out in 2008 and some in 2007. The second list will be ‘Notable Albums of 2009’. These were all great but didn’t crack the top 10. The third list will be ‘My Favorite Albums of 2009’. These were the best of the best released this year. Stay tuned!
