My Favorite Albums of 2010
Here are my favorite albums of 2010. As with the last two years (2008, 2009), I feel like 2010 was an incredible year for music. It seems to be just getting better and better each year. This year, my way of discovering music changed as I discovered a ton of new stuff from SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Tumblr and more all through exfm. I’m looking forward to another great year in ‘11! #10...

Labels We Love (an incomplete list)
extensionfm: We love, love, love record labels that post mp3s for prospective customers. We also love how well that works with exfm’s vision of discovering great new music.  We try to post label sites as often as we can without being obnoxious about it.  Here’s a random sample of great sites with plenty of songs we posted this year with some of the artists alongside:   Neon Gold:  Marina and...

Notable Albums of 2010
I literally think about my top albums of the year every single day from January 1 to the end of December. I maintain a spreadsheet and constantly re-order the contents to come up with the perfect order. I also love looking back on previous years (2008, 2009) to see if the orders are still correct for me. Anyway, here are great albums from this year that didn’t crack my top 10. That list is...

Import your Delicious bookmarks into Chrome
Obviously we’ve all heard the news- Yahoo is sunsetting Delicious. This hits close to home for me having been on the original team (pre-yahoo). Not knowing what Yahoo will end up doing, I thought to take matters into my own hands. I was up late last night working on a Chrome extension that will easily export my bookmarks out of Delicious and import them into Chrome, organized by tag. Since...

Oldskool Delicious
Ah, those were the days! These pics are from December 2005, a few days after Yahoo acquired us. We all went out to Sunnyvale with such high hope. Hard to believe it’s all ending. Me Max Rocco Tim

My Google Latitude Experiment
Since Tuesday, I’ve been running Google Latitude on my iPhone. It’s the first time I’ve ever continuously tracked my location (as opposed to FourSquare which allows me to check-in at certain locations manually). I opted-in to Latitude’s History keeper which stores my location on a Google Map- private and only accessible by me. Overall, I really like the idea of tracking...

Want to listen to music in your Twitter timeline?
bijan: People will often link to great music on Twitter. I do this and so do many folks that I follow Yesterday the team at exfm have released a big update to their music app. The new update provides a lot of new capabilities. One of my favorites is the ability to share and play music right inside of Twitter. I’m writing this on my iPhone so here’s the link to the exfm blog post that...

Techcrunch: ExtensionFM Becomes exfm: An Extension...
extensionfm: MG Siegler just wrote an awesome post of our V2 launch for Techcrunch. “If I want to be hip to what’s new, I rely on my social graph to recommend things. And exfm is maybe the perfect tool for that.” Thanks a lot MG! ps - check out his Tumblog - parislemon.com
