Girl Talk at Terminal 5 - 11/18/08
It was 8PM last night. I was halfway out the office when my friend Jeff called. “Want to go to Girl Talk? Free Ticket”. I was in. Claudio, who I saw Girl Talk with at APW, had 2 tickets and could not go. What a friend - he gave them to us, hoping at least someone could enjoy the show while he could not. Thanks Clauds! Isabel and I went to the Girl Talk concert last night at Terminal 5. The show was great. I saw Girl Talk for the first time over the summer at the All Points West festival. What a night
Isabel and I walked home tonight and the streets were crazy. Everywhere you looked, people were screaming, dancing, laughing and high-fiving. What an amazing feeling. What a difference one night can make. I feel rejuvenated. I feel proud. I am so happy that my country did the right thing. Obama’s speech was amazing. I knew it would be.
